WE FIX THIS TOGETHER

IN HONOR OF UNCLE BOB ROBERTS KILLED IN LINE OF DUTY

I was a young boy in Marin County when Uncle Bob the Ltd On the San Francisco Police force drove over to visit his favorite sister my mother Marjorie. How they loved each other. Uncle Bob who did not have children adopted mom’s “NINE” as his own. Driving around with that light and sirens was magic as the new hit show STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO made Uncle Bob  a rock star hero in our our neighborhood in the 1950s early 1960s.

I can remember that day when we learned that Uncle Bill was shot ( again ) in the line of duty only this time he died. Mom was scream crying for a week. I remember that. I never will forget the cathedral ceremony with the entire place packed with dress uniform officers surrounding our family and lifting us all up that day at the funeral. I was so young. I marched with Harvey Milk after that for civil rights and uncle Martin Luther King. So I saw all sides of it from the South to no prejudice San Francisco AWAKE SPACE. I remember standing next to Mom as police officer after officer in that longest line knelt down and took my hand and said – YOU UNCLE IS A HERO YOU KNOW THAT RIGHT? Always remember what a HERO your uncle was from today – burn today in your mind as thousands came her to pay RESPECT TO A HERO today. Your uncle Bill saved too many lives to count.

TOO MANY LIVES TO COUNT

THERE ARE BADGES WITH NO HUMAN RIGHTS AT ALL

THEN COMES FLOYD

As you can all read and all share my famous article on FLOYD defines a riot changes nothing and a MOVEMENT changes everything. We need JUSTICE REFORM and I outlined some of that. We don’t need POLICE IN HANDCUFFS facing military grade weapons from those would harm and injure your loved ones in pure joy and have a nice warm meal after. The only thing that assures we live as we do in AMERICA a life free of violence despite sit coms and binge watching scrips – the reality is we lead lives the entire world sees as the hope and the promise of tomorrow. WE THE PEOPLE.

So in honor of MY UNCLE BILL a proud BLUE in SAN FRANCISCO and for all officers who came to that funeral and the many more this month nation wide – may I present to you to share if you care balance in a growing movement for justice reform – the desired FLOYD outcome versus death destruction and riots would advance hatred.

WE ALL NEED TO LOVE EACH OTHER MORE.

And now this:

Yes… let’s all join in the hatred of all police for the sins of a few.

Let’s defund one of the most important public institutions in our country’s history.

Let’s have all badges removed and allow people to tend to their own safety and security.
